This is our first year having a student at Fairview and we have been VERY impressed with the level of professionalism and dedication shown by the teachers and administrators. This year, FES won the 1st annual SCORE prize for being one of the most improved schools in the entire State of Tennessee. What a huge honor! I love that this school is small, so children can really been valued individually. I also like how clean and organized the school is. I feel comfortable when visiting for school events, or at any time during a regular school day (this is very important to me as a parent).

I love this school!!!! There are high expectations at this school from the teachers and they work hard trying to meet the needs of all of the students in their class. With the raised standards in the state of Tennessee, the pressure is on educators to raise the bar in their classrooms and rise to the challenge ahead of them. The students in fourth and fifth grade can have quite a bit of homework on a given night which isn't always popular, but students genuinely know the teachers and staff at FES care about them and want the best for them. The school is finally under good administration and the principal has high expectations from the students in their academics and in their behavior. The school has a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter the front door. I would recommend FES anyone, but I would advise to be sure you have good communication with your child's teachers. It is important for the parents and teachers to work together in any school. Teachers are not the "bad guys". They work hard and want the best for the children.

My son has attended this school for several years and I feel like it lacks alot. I don't feel like the teachers work together from one grade to the next making transition a nightmare. The expectations for the children are high then low then high again, anything but consistant. I have been very disappointed with the education he is being offered. The teachers have switched teaching methods mid stream, 'NEW' math techniques are a joke.

I have had children at Fairview since my daughter started kindergarten there in 1997. She is now a sophmore at Anderson County High School and my son is in 5th grade at Fairview. I will miss the teachers when my son goes off to Norris Middle this fall. I love the school and advise others to check it out for their children.

I love this school! They're always there to help with any problem. My daughter's teacher was great last year. I feel it's a safe, efficient school where my daughters can learn and achieve.

My daughter goes to school here and she has loved her teachers that she has had so far. she has learned so much and everyone treats you like family. we love fairview very much and she loves music, they have so many programs that you can put your child in and they always incourage the parents to come and visit them any time that you want. I eat lunch with her at least once a week and she loves to see me. we also think the world of Mrs. Fair. keep up the good work Fairview.
